Miles today: unsure bc I forgot to stop tracking
Wednesday I had a chill morning and then went on another hike with my fellow +1. We went to Makapu’u Point in Ka Iwi park, about 30 min away. We both got garlic umami shrimp for lunch along the way and I have to say, this island knows how to use garlic.
The drive in was beautiful, weaving in between dark brown rock faced mountains. I’m really wishing I’d brought my motorcycle gear.
It was another perfect weather day and we had these awesome views, including a little island and light house. The wind is kind of strong and we decided not to get super close to the edges.
For dinner we tried out a food truck court. (Food court trucks?) It was fun to get something different and just walk around this evening instead of driving.
We had to look a little too hard for ice cream but managed to find some. Jaron & I both got chocolate oreo chunk and it was fantastic.
